I got this for you!

I really like this because it inspires me to create no matter what I have going on in my life. I have just took back on Goodreads social networking site for both writers and readers now that I am entering the final stretch of the memoir “Greenwich Meridian” (c). I need to finish it and these two things have inspired me today: Goodreads and Father Mark Peacock’s “I got this for you.” Thank you Father Mark.

At a recent funeral in the Detroit area, I was con-celebrating and the main celebrant was one of the Bishops of Detroit. In the sacristy before the funeral, the Bishop was giving instructions to the servers who were all from the Catholic grade school. He was telling them how he wanted things done when one of them a young man with great confidence said to the Bishop, “Bishop, I got this for you!” Our readings are about God saying to us, “I got this for you.”
